Senior Estimator

Aati Contracts is seeking a Senior Estimator to support the preparation of realistic and competitive project cost estimates. The role helps management assess tender opportunities by evaluating labour, materials and other project costs, while preparing pricing submissions that protect commercial value and support successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Review tender documents and assess the labour, material and other costs required for project execution.
• Prepare detailed estimates and pricing submissions for competitive and commercially sound tender bids.
• Identify value-engineering options that may improve project value and strengthen the tender proposal.
• Coordinate with project and estimating colleagues to confirm scope, quantities, assumptions and cost details.
• Support post-tender reviews and client clarifications to resolve pricing and scope questions.
• Maintain clear estimating records and present cost information for management review and decision-making.

Requirements

• Bring relevant experience in construction estimating, tendering or project commercial work.
• Understand quantities, construction materials, labour costs and project implementation requirements.
• Demonstrate numerical accuracy, analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Communicate effectively with estimating, project, procurement and management teams.
