Majid Al Futtaim is recruiting for Data Scientist/Analyst - Data Modelling & BI | Emirati Talent in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Data Scientist/Analyst supports business decisions through data modelling, business intelligence and clear analytical reporting. The role combines data preparation, model development, visualisation and communication so teams can identify patterns, evaluate performance and make better-informed decisions. The successful applicant will help maintain dependable service and contribute to agreed operational or business priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Build analytical models, queries or reporting views to answer business questions and measure performance.
- Develop dashboards and visualisations that make trends, exceptions and key indicators easier to understand.
- Work with business partners to define requirements and turn findings into practical recommendations.
- Document methods, assumptions and outputs, and follow appropriate standards for data access and confidentiality.
- Gather, clean and structure data from relevant sources, checking for gaps, inconsistencies and quality issues.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Relevant experience or educational grounding in data analysis, statistics, business intelligence, information systems or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate data into understandable conclusions.
- Working familiarity with data modelling, visualisation and querying tools relevant to the position.
