Senior Risk Analyst

Job Overview

Support enterprise risk management through risk assessment, risk appetite monitoring, governance reporting and analytical insight. This opening is designed for a UAE National fresh graduate or qualified Ethraa candidate interested in banking risk.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments covering financial, operational and external risk factors.
• Support maintenance of the bank’s risk inventory and enterprise risk-management framework.
• Assist with Risk Appetite Statement monitoring and escalation of potential breaches.
• Track key risk indicators and prepare risk reports and management presentations.
• Support risk-mitigation recommendations and follow-up on audit or regulatory findings.
• Work with Finance, Credit, Operations, Compliance, Audit and Risk teams on cross-functional initiatives.
• Monitor economic, regulatory and industry developments affecting the bank’s risk profile.

Candidate Requirements

• UAE National fresh graduate or qualified Ethraa candidate.
• Bachelor’s degree in Financial Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance or related discipline.
• Strong academic background and interest in risk management and analytics.
• Internship or exposure to banking, finance, analytics or risk is advantageous.
• Knowledge of MS Office; SQL, Python, SAS, R or similar analytical tools is beneficial.
