Senior Financial Advisor

Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Senior Financial Advisor to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Manage potentially stressed or restructured customer exposures and develop practical solutions that support portfolio quality. The position analyses financial circumstances, evaluates repayment capacity and recommends restructuring options within the bank’s credit and risk standards. Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned stressed or restructured accounts and monitor their quality against defined business policies.
• Analyse customer cash flows, financial information and relevant circumstances to understand repayment capacity.
• Negotiate and recommend practical restructuring solutions in line with underwriting standards and risk-adjusted targets.
• Prepare detailed credit proposals that explain the rationale, risks, proposed terms and expected outcomes.
• Coordinate with relationship, credit, legal and recovery teams to progress cases and monitor agreed actions.
• Maintain accurate records and provide updates on portfolio performance, customer developments and emerging risks.

Requirements and qualifications

• Relevant experience in credit, remedial management, financial restructuring or recovery within banking is beneficial.
• Strong cash-flow analysis and credit-proposal preparation skills are important.
• Ability to assess stressed exposures and recommend balanced solutions is required.
• Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
• A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
