Associate Vice President – Solution Architect – Digital Assets

Job Overview

Design and guide a secure digital-asset ecosystem covering custody, stablecoin capabilities and integration with mobile banking, with emphasis on security, scalability and UAE regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design the target architecture for a greenfield digital-asset ecosystem.
• Develop secure solutions for custody management, key management and digital-asset services.
• Design stablecoin issuance and supporting platform capabilities where applicable.
• Integrate digital-asset services with the bank’s mobile and digital-banking platforms.
• Define security architecture, cloud patterns, access controls and resilient infrastructure.
• Work with Technology, Information Security, Risk, Compliance and business teams.
• Ensure architecture aligns with CBUAE requirements and internal governance.
• Evaluate technology choices, vendors and integration patterns and document architectural decisions.
• Support delivery teams through solution design, implementation and technical assurance.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong experience designing and delivering digital-asset or blockchain-related platforms.
• Hands-on knowledge of custody, key management, security architecture and cloud technologies.
• Understanding of stablecoins and integration with banking/digital channels.
• Knowledge of CBUAE regulatory expectations and secure enterprise architecture.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field preferred.
