Structure Technician

About the Role

Lead, perform, and approve structural repairs and modifications in line with SRM, AMM, drawings, and OEM/vendor documentation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all tasks, including off-aircraft work (spares handling, robberies, hold items), are carried out with full compliance and documentation.
• Inspect and ensure correct use of tooling/equipment, including specialised tools where required.
• Report service delays, incidents, and major defects in line with regulations.
• Support AOG recovery operations and represent Emirates at manufacturer facilities when required.
• Mentor and develop structures technicians to build future capability and support licensing approvals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in commercial aircraft maintenance, including 5+ years in structural repair approval/certification.
• Vocational/Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, Aeronautical, Avionics, or related field) or valid GCAA/ICAO/EASA Part 66 License (B1.1).
• Experience with OEM specialist training or company structural approvals.
• Strong knowledge of aviation regulations and safety compliance.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).
