Senior Auditor (UAEN)

Job overview: Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a Senior Auditor (UAEN) to join its banking team in the United Arab Emirates. Carry out internal audit work to assess the effectiveness of banking processes, controls and compliance arrangements. The role identifies improvement opportunities, reports findings and supports the protection of the bank’s business and customers. Key responsibilities

• Perform audit assignments in line with the approved audit plan, methodology and scope.
• Review business processes, banking transactions and control evidence to identify weaknesses or non-compliance.
• Document observations, assess their impact and recommend practical actions to improve control effectiveness.
• Discuss findings with process owners and follow up on agreed corrective actions.
• Ensure audit work considers bank policies, procedures, guidelines and applicable regulatory or statutory requirements.
• Suggest improvements to processes, systems and working practices where they can strengthen control and efficiency.

Requirements and qualifications

• This position is reserved for a UAE National.
• Candidates should have 2+ years of experience in external or internal audit.
• A good understanding of banking concepts and procedures is required.
• Demonstrated ability to organise work, manage priorities and meet agreed deadlines.
• A professional approach, sound judgement and commitment to accuracy and confidentiality are important.
