Description
Qatar Airways is seeking a Uniforms Technical Specialist in Doha to support technical and operational requirements associated with employee uniforms. The role helps ensure that uniform items meet agreed specifications, quality expectations and presentation standards, while coordinating with relevant teams and suppliers on product issues, documentation and improvement opportunities.
The successful candidate is expected to follow established procedures, keep relevant records accurate and maintain open communication with colleagues. Operational priorities may change during a shift, so flexibility, sound judgment and the ability to complete assigned work safely and on time are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Review uniform-related technical information, product specifications and quality feedback from relevant teams.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and suppliers to clarify requirements and address product or fit issues.
- Support checks of samples, materials, finishes and consistency against approved standards.
- Maintain accurate records of specifications, decisions, issues and corrective actions.
- Follow up open actions and communicate changes to the teams affected by uniform requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in product quality, wearability and consistency.
Requirements
- Relevant technical, textile, garment, product-quality or operational experience is beneficial.
- Candidates should be comfortable reviewing specifications, maintaining records and coordinating with multiple stakeholders.
- Good communication, organisation and attention to detail are important.
