Description
Qatar Airways Cargo is recruiting a Manager Network ULD in Doha to manage Unit Load Device stock planning and performance across the network. The role supports operational demand, fleet growth and network development while introducing visibility tools, performance measures and initiatives that improve ULD control, traceability, reliability and cost management.
The successful candidate is expected to follow established procedures, keep relevant records accurate and maintain open communication with colleagues. Operational priorities may change during a shift, so flexibility, sound judgment and the ability to complete assigned work safely and on time are important.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop strategic plans for ULD stock through its full lifecycle to support operational requirements and network growth.
- Build relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to deploy KPIs, dashboards and network initiatives.
- Introduce digital tracking technology, such as Bluetooth Low Energy or equivalent, to improve ULD visibility and control.
- Establish operational and cost-related measures to monitor performance and manage resources.
- Support audit compliance, improve inventory accuracy and address gaps in availability or data quality.
- Lead improvement projects and coordinate implementation across stations and stakeholder groups.
Requirements
- Relevant management experience in cargo, logistics, airline operations, inventory or supply-chain functions is expected.
- Candidates should understand ULD operations, network planning and performance management.
- Strong analytical, stakeholder and change-management skills are important.
- Experience with digital tracking, dashboards or process improvement is beneficial.
