Service Advisor, Jaguar Land Rover – Sharjah

Al Tayer Motors is seeking a Service Advisor for Jaguar Land Rover in Sharjah. The role provides professional service to customers by accurately recording maintenance and repair needs, explaining recommended work and keeping customers informed from check-in through vehicle handover. The advisor also supports customer retention and after-sales revenue through useful advice, follow-up and service-package awareness.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers, discuss service needs and record problems and repair requests clearly on job cards.
• Explain the recommended work, estimated costs and expected outcomes, and obtain customer approval before repair.
• Prepare precise instructions for technicians and monitor progress to keep the customer updated.
• Arrange inspection of completed work and coordinate courteous vehicle handover after quality checks.
• Follow up on parts back orders, outstanding work and long-pending vehicles, keeping customers informed.
• Recommend suitable accessories, service packages or additional maintenance and participate in service campaigns.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A vocational qualification in an automotive trade, a diploma in Automobile Engineering or a graduate qualification.
• Two to five years of experience in the automotive trade.
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair processes and manufacturer-recommended service intervals.
• Strong customer service, record-keeping and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate with workshop staff, manage work in progress and handle several customer cases.
