Description
Responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory and daily operations of Air Arabia’s stores, including the receipt, storage, and issuance of tools, equipment, and spare parts used for maintaining both Air Arabia and third-party aircraft. Ensures all processes are carried out in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal stock levels for daily use and scheduled maintenance activities, including toolboxes, kits, wheels, batteries, oils, and other essential items.
- Ensure timely availability of all tools, parts, and components to support scheduled and unscheduled maintenance, ensuring safe and on-time aircraft release.
- Conduct routine inspections of assigned storage areas to confirm proper storage conditions, including temperature, humidity, safety, and hazard control.
- Manage the allocation of tools and spare parts as instructed by the Line Manager or AOG Desk; monitor and replace consumables and update inventory systems accordingly.
- Pre-load system data with required items for ADDs and MDDs to ensure timely retrieval and readiness.
- Issue daily toolkits, parts, and components as per the aircraft maintenance schedule for Air Arabia operations.
- Verify that all tools and equipment used by maintenance teams are in serviceable condition; coordinate with the Rotables Team regarding any unserviceable items received.
- Maintain accurate records in the AMOS system to track activities involving received, stored, and issued components, considering tool calibration, shelf life, shift logs, and critical item tracking.
- Ensure that unused parts are returned and correctly logged back into the inventory system in line with company procedures.
- Assist the Line Manager in maintaining store safety, cleanliness, operational efficiency, and compliance with required standards.
- Provide on-demand inventory support to Air Arabia and third-party aircraft operations when necessary.
- Prepare regular stock reports, identify discrepancies in the system, determine root causes, and suggest corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications
- Diploma or certification in a relevant field is acceptable; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proficient in using inventory software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.
- Fluent in both French and English.
- Valid driving license for the location of assignment.
- Moroccan nationality is mandatory.
Work Experience
- Willingness and ability to work rotating shifts.
- 1–2 years of experience in a similar inventory or stores role within the aviation industry; experience with a low-cost carrier is an advantage.
- Familiarity with aviation inventory software is beneficial.
- Solid understanding of civil aviation regulations concerning the storage, handling, and issuance of aircraft maintenance parts and equipment.
- Completion of IATA Dangerous Goods Regulations training is an advantage.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Capable of handling inventory and resources in a cost-efficient manner.
- Self-motivated, reliable, energetic, and proactive.
- Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks under pressure.
- Physically fit, with the ability to handle heavy equipment and work across multiple storage locations.
- Proven ability to contribute effectively to business goals and meet defined KPIs.
