Description
As an Operational Risk Manager within Retail Credit Operations (RCO), you will be responsible for managing risk across all retail asset products (PL, Auto Loan, Home Loan, Cards, OD). You will lead operational and fraud risk strategies, ensure compliance, and oversee incident management while guiding a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Risk Management: Develop and maintain robust risk management frameworks and conduct regular assessments.
- Fraud Risk Mitigation: Build proactive fraud prevention measures and response strategies across retail assets.
- Compliance Oversight: Monitor and implement regulatory updates, liaising with auditors and compliance teams.
- Incident Management: Oversee incident tracking, root cause analysis, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
- Team Leadership: Lead and develop a team of 45+ staff, fostering high performance and risk awareness.
What You’ll Need
- Nationality: UAE National (with Family Book)
- Experience: 3–5 years in operational risk, fraud risk, or compliance
- Knowledge:
- Operational & fraud risk techniques
- UAE regulatory landscape
- Retail asset product lifecycle
- Risk frameworks & QA processes
- Skills: Analytical thinking, effective communication, team leadership
