Description
Job Purpose
To achieve business targets by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, ensuring high standards of customer service, maintaining quality documentation and credit analysis, and adhering to regulatory and compliance guidelines. The role also focuses on sales channel development, market knowledge enhancement, and accurate reporting for business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Sales- Develop and implement a business plan/strategy for the assigned client segment to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Manage individual sales performance and contribute to the development of sales channels in alignment with the bank’s overall sales strategy.
- Ensure turnaround times (TATs) are met for both internal and external customers to achieve optimal satisfaction and drive customer referrals.
- Conduct thorough checks of customer files in line with DIB credit guidelines prior to submission, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Ensure high-quality file submissions with minimal discrepancies to maximize approval rates.
- Input all leads into the CRM system and regularly update follow-up statuses.
- Prepare daily sales reports, pipeline reports, and lead conversion updates to provide visibility on monthly performance.
- Maintain a summary of existing clients for future correspondence, promotions, and referral generation.
- Stay updated on all product features, policies, and changes.
- Attend internal and external training programs regularly.
- Monitor competitor activities and market developments to make informed recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant regulatory, compliance, and audit requirements.
- Adhere to all approved policies, procedures, and SLAs to maintain service quality and mitigate risk.
- Demonstrate and incorporate the Bank's core values, especially Customer First, in all daily activities.
Competencies / Skills
Education- University graduate, preferably in Business Administration or Finance
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in banking, preferably within the mortgage or home finance sector
