As part of Group Business Services (GBS)—a high-performing team driving operational excellence and innovation—you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional trade finance services that support our clients and align with the bank’s strategic goals.
Your Role: What You’ll Do
- Transaction Processing: Execute trade finance transactions in line with the bank’s trade finance policy, SOPs, and approved credit conditions—ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Coordinate with Relationship Managers and internal teams to obtain necessary approvals and ensure transactions meet all internal control and compliance standards.
- Records & Reconciliation: Maintain accurate transaction records and assist with account reconciliation in accordance with the bank’s documentation and audit requirements.
- Compliance & Consistency: Adhere to all organizational and departmental guidelines, ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Self-Management: Take ownership of your responsibilities and align with the bank’s performance, conduct, and development expectations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Embody ADCB’s promise and service standards in every customer interaction to strengthen trust and satisfaction.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in Trade Finance.
- Solid understanding of banking and accounting systems related to core trade products.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Access.
- Detail-oriented with a good understanding of compliance, documentation, and reconciliation procedures.
