About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Techno-Functional Consultant to lead our technical team in the successful implementation, customization, and support of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO). The ideal candidate will have a deep technical and functional understanding of D365, with a proven track record of managing technical teams and delivering complex, end-to-end ERP solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of D365 FO technical consultants and developers, overseeing their day-to-day activities and project deliverables.
- Manage the full ERP implementation lifecycle, from requirement gathering and solution design to deployment and post-implementation support.
- Collaborate closely with clients and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Oversee the design and development of customizations, including tables, classes, forms, SSRS reports, and workflows using X++.
- Architect and implement seamless integrations with third-party applications using a variety of tools such as AIF documents, custom services, Data Entities, Dual Write, and Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus Relay, Web APIs).
- Ensure adherence to best practices and methodologies, including Microsoft Lifecycle Services (LCS) and Success by Design.
- Manage Azure DevOps repositories, pipelines, and releases for efficient CI/CD processes.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on functional configurations for various D365 FO modules, including AP, AR, GL, Inventory Management, and Warehouse Management.
- Leverage the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) to extend D365 FO capabilities and create custom business solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement by staying current with the latest D365 FO updates, tools, and technologies.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 8+ years of professional experience in Microsoft Dynamics AX and D365 FO implementation and support.
- Proven experience in a leadership role, successfully managing and mentoring a technical team.
- Extensive technical expertise in D365 FO development, including X++, OOP concepts, and a strong understanding of data entities and web APIs.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Git/TFVC) for project management and CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency in integrating D365 FO with other applications and services using REST/SOAP APIs and Azure resources (Logic Apps, API Management, SQL).
- Functional knowledge of key D365 FO modules such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Management, and Retail & Commerce.
- Experience with the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, Power Pages).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client-facing skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to project delivery
