Responsibilities:
- Leads and manages design, technical, and material specification audits to ensure full compliance with applicable codes, project standards, and contractual requirements.
- Develops and implements the company’s Technical Audit framework, including audit procedures, review checklists, and reporting templates.
- Coordinates and supervises multidisciplinary technical reviews across architectural, structural, MEP, and materials domains.
- Provides recommendations to management on design efficiency, value engineering, and compliance findings throughout the project lifecycle (design, tender, construction, and handover).
- Supports development teams in budget validation and feasibility reviews, ensuring design compliance aligns with the project’s financial and commercial objectives.
- Proven experience in design compliance, shop drawing reviews, and value engineering coordination.
- Awareness of cost, constructability, and development feasibility from a developer’s perspective.
- Over 14 years of exp; Architecture or Architectural Engineering preferred. Civil Engineer would also be acceptable.
- Developers: Technical Design / Site Review / Management experience with strong exposure to budget control and feasibility assessment.
- Lead Design Consultants: Technical Review (Design and Site Supervision).
- Main Contractors: Technical lead managing multidisciplinary engineering teams.
