Role Overview
As a Manager – Compliance Assurance, you will coordinate and oversee the preparation and delivery of governance reporting materials for senior management and board-level committees. You will lead the development of high-quality, visually engaging presentations and documentation, ensuring consistency, compliance, and strategic alignment with the Bank’s governance standards. Your role will also contribute to broader compliance assurance activities, including risk monitoring and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete preparation and submission of committee and board packs, ensuring timeliness and compliance with governance protocols.
- Design and develop professional PowerPoint presentations and written materials tailored for executive and board-level audiences.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across the Bank to gather, validate, and integrate data for accurate and insightful reporting.
- Translate complex content into clear, concise messages that effectively communicate risk insights and key themes.
- Ensure all materials align with internal branding, quality, and documentation standards.
- Manage document control processes, including version tracking and access management.
- Monitor pack submissions, set internal timelines, and coordinate with contributors to meet delivery deadlines.
- Support the planning and coordination of committee agendas and meetings, including accurate minutes and follow-up tracking.
- Track key compliance metrics and risk indicators, contributing to the Bank’s risk assurance framework.
- Handle sensitive and confidential data with discretion and ensure secure handling of documents.
- Manage and guide the team in accordance with ADCB’s people policies, fostering performance, engagement, and development.
- Supervise day-to-day operations, ensuring targets and objectives are met in line with compliance procedures and the overall business plan.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Law, Risk, Business, Finance).
- Minimum 7 years of experience in banking or financial services, with a focus on compliance, operational risk, or assurance.
- Previous experience in board or committee reporting is highly preferred.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Solid understanding of UAE regulatory frameworks (e.g., CBUAE, SCA), and banking regulations.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance principles and risk reporting practices.
- Excellent communication, time management, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities under pressure.
- Exposure to compliance advisory, monitoring & testing, or operational risk control is a plus.
