Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the complete supply chain cycle, including procurement, logistics, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and materials.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams for smooth shipment handling.
  • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality regulations for product registration, labeling, and approvals.
  • Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists, COO, and other required regulatory documents.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock movements.
  • Resolve supply chain issues, delays, or discrepancies with suppliers or logistics partners.
  • Collaborate with QA/QC teams to ensure all products meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Liaise with government authorities (DM, Customs, etc.) as needed to clear shipments and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs (cost, delivery timelines, accuracy, etc.).

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food industry supply chain or logistics role within the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality (DM) processes and systems, including Montaji or related platforms.
  • Familiarity with UAE import/export regulations and customs clearance processes.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Experience in the FMCG, healthcare, or food industry.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage but not required.
