Description
Key Responsibilities
Professional Standards & Conduct
- Maintain the integrity and spirit of Studio 360 as a representative of the organization
- Adhere to all studio manuals, procedures, and protocols
- Deliver high-quality output and standards as per the role and engineering discipline involved
- Maintain smart business attire at all times
Communication & Collaboration
- Attend meetings and workshops as needed to contribute intellectually to organizational needs
- When leading meetings, take minutes, share notes per set procedures immediately, and follow up until task completion
- Maintain constant communication with Leadership (LDP) and immediate reporting authorities regarding deliverables and their status
- Flag risks of delays, cost overruns, quality issues, or other concerns to LDP and immediate reporting authority immediately upon identification
Project Management & Design Execution
- Prepare design presentations including sketches and material boards
- Work with drawings including GAs, RCPs, sections and elevations, construction details, millwork details, and specifications under the supervision of Senior/Lead ID Architect
- Manage projects during all phases of work
- Create concepts, develop design ideas, and design to budgets
- Work on design rollouts and develop new hotel design guidelines
- Develop projects through all phases of work with minimal supervision of Senior/Lead Designer and/or ID Manager
- Assist in preparation and review of DD and IFC packages to the highest standard
- Brief and work alongside technicians, overseeing packages to protect design intent
Quality & Accountability
- Follow all QA/QC checks for all work procedures under scope
- Be accountable for own work and subordinates' work
- Assist Leadership office and immediate reporting authority in achieving Studio's Vision as set by Board/Investors
Professional Development & Availability
- Undertake structured Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
- Perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
- Be available on standby during vacations and weekends when critical deliverables affect business needs
- Set up a proxy system when unavailable to ensure tasks are completed and reporting authorities have constant updates for effective tracking
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Design, Interior Design, or Architecture
Experience
- Minimum: 3-8 years of relevant experience
- Local experience is essential
- Sector Focus: 4-star and 5-star Hospitality and F&B projects (experience in Residential and Retail sectors is a bonus)
Technical Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of contract documents, specifications & design, documentation
- Familiarity with product & supplier resources, FF&E and OSE services
- Understanding of regional design codes
- Strong technical knowledge and ability to protect design intent
Software Proficiency (Advanced Level Required)
- Revit
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe Photoshop
- Microsoft Office Excel
- Adobe Creative Suite
