Role Overview

As a Product Manager – Investment Products, you will be responsible for developing, managing, and optimizing ADCB’s investment product portfolio. This includes end-to-end product lifecycle management, budget oversight, market analysis, customer communications, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory standards. You will also lead continuous improvement efforts and contribute to the Bank’s innovation strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Management

• Design and develop new investment products aligned with customer needs, market trends, and strategic business goals.
• Conduct product research and performance analysis to ensure profitability, competitiveness, and relevance.
• Conceptualize and implement new product propositions and marketing alliances to boost customer acquisition and retention.
• Monitor product portfolios, customer usage behavior, cost of funds, and yield performance in line with business targets.
• Ensure timely and accurate communication of product features via term sheets, brochures, and other client-facing material.

Financial & Performance Oversight

• Contribute to the development of the annual budget for the business area.
• Monitor financial performance against the budget, highlight variances, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Governance & Compliance

• Ensure all product development and marketing activities comply with regulatory, legal, and internal policy requirements.
• Maintain documentation and ensure alignment with industry best practices and audit standards.

Process Improvement & Innovation

• Recommend and implement enhancements to policies, systems, and processes to drive operational efficiency and service excellence.
• Actively contribute to change initiatives, innovation programs, and cross-functional projects within the department.

Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver services in accordance with ADCB’s Service Standards and uphold the Bank’s commitment to exceptional customer experience.

Team Leadership & Development

• Lead and manage the team in line with ADCB’s people policies and performance management framework.
• Set clear objectives, provide coaching and feedback, and support professional development to maximize team engagement and output.

Candidate Profile

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or Economics from a reputable university.
• Professional certifications such as:
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
  • Certified Investment Professional (CIP)
  • Certificate in Quantitative Finance (CQF)
  • Accredited Financial Analyst
  • Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA)
  • Additional qualifications such as Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or ICA Conduct Risk Certificate are desirable.

Experience & Skills:

• Minimum 8 years of experience in a banking or financial institution, with a focus on investment products.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and financial modeling skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• In-depth understanding of banking products, financial markets, and customer behavior.
• Effective communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
