The Role: Project Manager – Treasury Risk Systems (IRRBB Focus)

We are seeking a results-driven, strategic thinker to join our Treasury team. This role focuses on delivering mission-critical projects that support Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book (IRRBB) and broader regulatory initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and governance across the full project lifecycle—from solution design through to implementation—ensuring alignment with IRRBB and regulatory requirements
  • Manage and deliver regulatory and IRRBB-related projects with a global scope, ensuring robust planning, risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and on-time, on-budget execution
  • Oversee coordination of project backlogs among business owners, ensuring system updates meet business requirements and follow QA and change management protocols
  • Lead departmental stakeholders through analysis, design, configuration, testing, and deployment phases to ensure seamless delivery and optimal performance
  • Monitor and govern the strategic roadmap for risk and regulatory system implementations (e.g., FIS, Moody’s), identifying and prioritizing improvements in line with business goals
  • Organize and facilitate strategic workshops with vendors and internal stakeholders to identify risks and refine deliverables early in the project lifecycle
  • Lead regular architecture reviews and contribute to service improvement planning to ensure ADCB’s systems meet evolving market standards
  • Support new process and system rollouts by contributing to detailed implementation plans and monitoring delivery against scope, budget, and timelines
  • Develop and deliver system training materials and demonstrations to internal and external users, ensuring high adoption and reducing user-related errors
  • Track and manage vendor performance against service-level agreements, ensuring timely delivery and escalating issues when required

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience:
    • Minimum 6 years in the financial services industry, with proven experience implementing Treasury systems or deep understanding of system usage
  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Applied Finance, Mathematics, Computational Finance, Engineering, or related field
  • Skills & Knowledge:
    • Strong understanding of financial risk management and computation concepts
    • Sound knowledge of Treasury and Capital Markets operations
    • Expertise in project management and stakeholder engagement
    • Familiarity with risk management systems such as FIS and Moody’s
    • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
