Description
As a Relationship Manager within the Private Client Group (PCG), you will manage a portfolio of large and high-value client relationships. You will drive revenue growth by originating new business opportunities, deepening existing relationships, and delivering a full suite of banking solutions across FAB’s product offerings.
You’ll be expected to maintain strong credit quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver a high standard of client service—all while collaborating cross-functionally with product teams, international banking, and other business units to bring maximum value to your portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Market Insight- Conduct detailed financial, market, and industry analysis to assess opportunities and risk.
- Identify new-to-bank (NTB) prospects and onboard high-potential clients in target sectors.
- Originate and structure new deals across the FAB product suite (loans, trade finance, treasury, etc.).
- Develop comprehensive client proposals, including term sheets and credit memos.
- Coordinate internal approvals with stakeholders including credit, legal, compliance, and product heads.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key clients and decision-makers.
- Create and update Account Plans in collaboration with product partners and other stakeholders.
- Deliver proactive, solution-based advisory to enhance client satisfaction and increase wallet share.
- Support clients in day-to-day banking needs, ensuring excellence in service delivery.
- Partner with Global Markets, GTB, GCF, and International Banking teams to deepen client engagement.
- Identify cross-sell opportunities and promote integrated solutions that align with client needs.
- Actively participate in internal initiatives and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
- Maintain a high-quality credit portfolio aligned with FAB’s risk appetite.
- Ensure timely credit reviews, compliance with KYC/AML standards, and robust documentation.
- Conduct regular risk reviews and take corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensure audit readiness and adherence to internal control frameworks, SOPs, and KPIs.
- Serve as a role model within the team, demonstrating ownership, integrity, and client focus.
- Meet or exceed individual financial targets and contribute to the unit’s overall performance.
- Continuously seek learning opportunities and participate in internal/external training programs.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education:- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field (required).
- Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
- 8–10 years of experience in corporate and/or investment banking, with a proven track record of managing large accounts and closing complex deals.
- Strong financial analysis and credit structuring capabilities.
- Proficient in data analysis and financial modeling.
- Deep knowledge of banking products and regulatory frameworks.
- Exceptional communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
