About the role:

The Customer Portfolio Analyst is responsible for analyzing delinquent accounts, developing effective collection strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Interact with Customers to procure market information & provide feedback to business.
  • Ensure that customers conform to the repayment plan & the bank norms in complete.
  • Always comply with the Staff Code of Conduct to ensure a positive image of the Bank is presented to all customers both internal and external.
  • Ensure compliance with policy, procedures, standards and reporting requirements, plus any relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to procedures and processes to improve process and service levels.
  • Be proactive in a wide range of customer enquiries and issues and escalate them as appropriate.
  • Identify and act on ways to improve own knowledge and skills and consequently improve the knowledge and skills level of the department.
  • Provide support to other team members as required to assist in the smooth operation of the department.
  • Maintain awareness of the department’s Business Continuity Plan and undertake appropriate training to ensure correct action is taken in the event of an incident or disruption.
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as required or instructed by the line manager to support the smooth operation of the department.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree with any specialization
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in collections or a related field within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Proficiency in using collections software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Basic knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to debt collection.
