Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated, guest-focused UAE National to join our award-winning team as Assistant Manager – Front Office. This pivotal leadership role supports daily front office operations, ensuring an exceptional arrival and stay experience for all guests, particularly VIPs. You will lead guest relations and front office teams, champion service excellence, and uphold the prestigious standards of Burj Al Arab.
Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & VIP Services
- Manage VIP arrivals, ensuring preferences are communicated across departments and reflected in guest profiles.
- Oversee timely and quality delivery of VIP amenities and long-stay guest services.
- Coordinate with the Reservations Department to action guest preference forms and prepare arrival checklists.
- Supervise welcome procedures: hot/cold towels, signature welcome drinks, welcome cards, and folders.
- Maintain high visibility in guest areas and proactively gather guest feedback on hotel services and facilities.
- Lead the Guest Relations team and lobby greeters, ensuring continuous presence and elite service levels in the lobby.
Team Supervision & Operations
- Support and mentor Guest Services Executives and front-of-house colleagues.
- Ensure smooth lobby operations and timely resolution of guest concerns.
- Oversee the organization of guest events, coordinating attendee estimates and communicating with internal departments.
- Serve as a point of contact for in-house guests and act on guest feedback or special requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications & Experience
- UAE National with a valid Family Book (in accordance with government guidelines).
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in luxury hospitality, preferably within an international 5-star hotel.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to engage with discerning guests.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus.
