Assistant Facilities Manager (Hard Services)

We are actively recruiting an Assistant Facilities Manager – Hard Services to enhance our Integrated Facilities Services team in Dubai. Your Role & Impact: As an Assistant Facilities Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing and supporting all daily divisional operations. Your dedication will ensure that any challenges are swiftly and satisfactorily resolved, upholding the exceptional service standards our diverse client and customer groups expect.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Contract Mobilization: Lead the coordination and implementation of new contract mobilizations.
• Client & Business Development Support: Collaborate with Managers, attend client meetings, and assist in pricing services for new business proposals.
• Team Leadership & Communication: Prepare for monthly staff meetings and conduct daily/weekly briefings with Managers, Coordinators, and Senior Supervisors.
• Operational Oversight: Conduct monthly site visits, providing crucial feedback to Managers and supervisors.
• Staff Development: Work with supervisors to develop and deliver induction and ongoing training for new team members.
• Financial Management: Maintain and manage monthly budgets and P&L accounts for all divisional contracts.
• Logistics Planning: Proactively plan all transport and accommodation needs for contract commencements.
• Compliance & Standards: Ensure all contract staff complete necessary company and division induction training and adhere strictly to all Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Procurement & HR Adherence: Authorize purchase requests with appropriate signatories and ensure accurate reporting of staff sickness, absence, and holidays in line with company policies.

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5-7 years of hands-on experience in hard services facility management.
• Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent degree in Facilities Management.
• Leadership: Proven experience in people management and leading continuous improvement projects.
• Business Acumen: Strong influencing skills, along with excellent commercial and contract awareness.
• Property Expertise: Demonstrated experience managing commercial properties.
• Licensing: A valid UAE Driving License is essential.
