Aircraft Catering Stores Assistant

About The Role

Assistant Catering Stores supervise the smooth running of flight departure and arrival requirements and monitor catering and equipment handling.

Main Duties Include But Are Not Limited To

• Ensure that the store rooms, dry stores, linen and equipment are maintained in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner.
• Order, receive, store and issue all dry stores, bond stores items, drinks, linen and equipment and maintain the relevant documentation.
• Maintain records and conduct regular inventories.
• Interact with all outside parties and suppliers as well as all employees.
• Supervise hangar duties and training flights.
• Conduct annual inventory in coordination with the Finance Department.
• Ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the Catering Stores and the stock.
• Ensure that the Catering Stores are clean and well organized at all times.
• Regularly check expiry dates of perishable and non-consumable items.
• Ensure all stores vehicles are always clean and well maintained.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualification:

• High School

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in relevant job.
• Experience in a store environment ideally with the airline industry.
• Knowledge in stock control.
• Computer literate with knowledge of Excel, Spreadsheets. Oracle is an advantage
• Good Communication skills.
