Description
The Role:
As Account Manager – Executive Protection & Event Security, you will be responsible for managing bar, club, event, beach club, and ad hoc security operations across SIRA and PSCOD zones. You will lead day-to-day operations, client relations, team performance, and financial oversight for Executive Protection (EP) and Event Security accounts. This includes strategic coordination with the Security Operations Center (SOC), client onboarding, and back-office administration.
This role reports to the Senior Manager – Security Services and plays a critical part in the business unit’s growth across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and the Northern Emirates.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management- Oversee all permanent and ad hoc security contracts in alignment with UAE security policies and regulations.
- Lead scheduling, rostering, deployments, and documentation for 200+ security staff (full-time & part-time).
- Coordinate with the SOC to ensure real-time tracking and accurate reporting of EP and event security taskings.
- Provide strategic input and support to SOC team development in EP/Event operations.
- Act as the main point of contact for client relationships across bars, clubs, events, and EP engagements.
- Prepare and process client documentation, timesheets, and security schedules.
- Ensure client compliance and deployment standards are met, while addressing feedback and resolving service-related issues.
- Manage new client onboarding and contribute to inter-departmental communication across Legal, Commercial, ICT, Sales, Finance, and Procurement.
- Take full ownership of the Business Unit's P&L, financial reporting, and invoicing procedures.
- Finalize monthly financials and present to senior leadership, including revenue-at-risk tracking.
- Prepare and submit Weekly Completion Reports (WCRs) and approve payroll and invoices within SLA timelines.
- Generate cost proposals, security quotations, and supporting plans for events and venues.
- Lead and mentor a small team of administrators and security managers.
- Drive efficiency through improved scheduling, document control, and personnel file maintenance.
- Identify and implement process improvements using Lean Six Sigma principles where applicable.
- Collaborate with internal departments to continuously enhance delivery and service quality.
- Conduct risk assessments at venues and events to ensure adherence to UAE security standards.
- Maintain and update operational procedures and frameworks in line with client SOPs.
- Oversee compliance with SIRA, PSCOD, and internal safety guidelines.
- Support business development and sales efforts through proposal generation and client presentations.
- Explore innovative methods to streamline admin functions and scale event operations.
- Work alongside cross-functional teams to build long-term client relationships and secure repeat business.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications & Experience- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, event security, or executive protection within the UAE.
- Proven track record in team management, client handling, and operational oversight.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Sound understanding of P&L reporting, cost control, and administrative procedures.
- SIRA/PSCOD regulatory experience (either previously held or current).
- Bachelor’s degree (security or management-related certifications preferred).
- Experience with Salesforce and Oracle platforms is a plus.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English; Arabic is an advantage.
- Working knowledge of NEBOSH/IOSH or other safety/event management certifications.
- Event Security and/or Executive Protection certification is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Green Guide to event safety is a bonus.
- Valid UAE Driving License and own transportation.
- Flexibility to work irregular or extended hours during events and peak periods.
- Ability to lead in high-pressure, fast-paced environments with large-scale, ad hoc deployments.
