Description
United Engineering Construction (UNEC) is recruiting a Senior Accountant for its Dubai finance team. The opportunity is intended for an experienced accounting professional with substantial UAE construction-sector background who can support accurate reporting, maintain strong financial controls, and contribute to organised month-end and year-end processes.
Position Overview
The Senior Accountant will oversee key accounting activities and help ensure that financial information is complete, timely, and suitable for management review. Familiarity with construction operations and Epromis ERP is important, together with the ability to coordinate reconciliations, reporting, and routine compliance work. This full-time role is located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Pay information: AED 15,000–22,000 per month (estimated). Main Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting entries and help keep reliable, complete financial records.
- Prepare and review financial reports, supporting schedules, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with budgeting, month-end and year-end closing, and financial compliance activities.
- Apply Epromis ERP and related accounting systems to maintain and review financial information.
- Investigate discrepancies, coordinate with relevant teams, and ensure supporting documentation is available.
- Deliver reliable accounting updates to support financial review and operational decision-making.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Eight to twelve years of UAE accounting experience is a requirement.
- Experience in a construction company is essential.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is listed.
- CPA or CMA certification is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Epromis ERP is a requirement.
- Candidates must be currently in the UAE and able to join immediately; Arabic nationality is an advantage in the listing.
Skills and Role Details
Strong knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, ERP systems, and compliance will be useful. This is a full-time position in Dubai with an estimated salary of AED 15,000–22,000 monthly.
