Finance Advisor – FP&A Operations

The Finance Advisor - FP&A Operations supports financial planning, performance analysis, forecasting, and business reporting across operational teams. The position turns financial and operating data into useful insight for leaders, helps identify profitability and cash-flow opportunities, and coordinates financial governance activities. It also requires regular engagement with internal stakeholders to understand performance drivers, resolve reporting issues, and support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or coordinate financial planning cycles, including multi-year plans, budgets, forecasts, and relevant performance indicators.
• Review operating results and explain variances in revenue, costs, profitability, cash flow, and working-capital performance.
• Identify improvement opportunities and help business teams define corrective actions for underperforming areas.
• Support leadership decisions through financial analysis, project evaluation, management reporting, and clear presentations.
• Coordinate month-end close, audit requests, forecast updates, and financial governance in accordance with internal controls.
• Monitor billing, collection, backlog, and reconciliation matters and work with stakeholders to resolve outstanding financial issues.
• Maintain strong relationships with operational teams and customers while ensuring reporting is accurate and delivered on time.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent discipline.
• The related posting calls for substantial FP&A Operations experience, including a minimum of ten years.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, business performance, and financial controls.
• Ability to analyse complex data and present findings clearly to management and non-finance stakeholders.
• Experience with reporting systems and spreadsheet-based analysis is important; familiarity with operational finance is valuable.
