Description

The role is responsible for achieving commercial goals within the assigned area or territory by utilizing multiple sales channels, fostering strong business relationships, enhancing brand presence, and promoting the company's products and services. This includes meeting sales targets, executing marketing campaigns and promotions, and growing market share in line with the company’s performance standards, policies, and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Achieve and exceed sales targets in the assigned area/territory through regular analysis of financial data, identifying performance gaps, and recommending and implementing corrective actions in coordination with the Sales Manager.
  2. Explore and develop new sales opportunities across different channels such as existing and new travel agencies, corporate clients, and online portals.
  3. Conduct field visits to identify key contacts and decision-makers at travel agencies, scheduling and leading meetings to promote Air Arabia’s offerings.
  4. Build and maintain effective relationships with travel agencies, GSAs, government departments, tourism companies, and trade partners to enhance sales distribution and drive business growth.
  5. Maintain accurate records and databases of key stakeholders and customers in the territory.
  6. Monitor competitor activities and market trends through field visits and benchmarking to stay aligned with changing customer needs and market dynamics.
  7. Prepare timely and accurate sales reports for management review, supporting decision-making and load factor optimization.
  8. Assess the unique needs of the assigned market, propose new route opportunities with business justifications, and coordinate with the Sales Manager and Revenue Management team.
  9. Support and train sales agents on new products, systems, and effective sales techniques to enhance overall performance in the area.
  10. Collaborate with the Marketing and Corporate Communications team to execute marketing initiatives such as trade shows, roadshows, and familiarization trips, ensuring strong brand visibility.
  11. Coordinate with the E-Business team to boost online sales and grow ancillary revenue through strategic sales initiatives.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or a related field
  • Moroccan nationality required
  • Fluent in both French and English

Work Experience

  • 1–2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably in the airline, aviation, or tourism industry; experience with a low-cost carrier is a plus
  • Additional certifications in Aviation, IATA, or Tourism are an advantage
  • Strong sales and marketing skills with the ability to persuade and influence
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach
  • Effective in negotiation and decision-making
  • Ability to balance technical know-how with interpersonal communication to execute strategic initiatives
  • Familiarity with market trends and the ability to plan accordingly
  • Skilled in preparing reports, data analysis, and sales forecasting
  • Proficient in creating and delivering impactful client presentations
  • Proven track record of contributing to business strategies and meeting KPIs
