Description

The selected candidate will be part of the Tatweer learning program under the Internal Audit division at Emirates NBD. The role involves supporting the Group Chief Audit Officer, Heads of Audit, Portfolio Managers, and Job-in-Charge Auditors in delivering internal audit services across various Emirates NBD business units, including branch operations.

As a graduate trainee, you will undergo structured training and gain hands-on experience by participating in branch reviews, business activity audits, project evaluations, and ad hoc assignments under supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Successfully complete the Tatweer training program, which includes classroom-based and online learning modules.
  • Assist in delivering audit services aimed at improving the control environment and safeguarding/enhancing the Group’s financial position.
  • Participate in audit assignments to assess internal controls, identify areas of risk, and recommend improvements.
  • Work towards meeting departmental KPIs as defined by the Board Audit Committee (BAC).
  • Contribute to service quality enhancement and improved customer experience through efficient audit practices.
  • Engage in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities as part of the program.
  • Support the enhancement of audit quality assurance processes and documentation standards.
  • Help drive efficiency in audit execution and reporting by identifying opportunity cost or compliance impact.
  • Promote cost-effectiveness and risk mitigation across assignments.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to improve employee engagement.
  • Contribute to talent development by embodying the values of the bank and encouraging a culture of learning.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Banking, or Accounting
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial systems
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude toward change and a commitment to continuous learning
  • Aligned with the values and vision of the Internal Audit team and Emirates NBD Group
