Waiter/ess – Private Dining

About the Job

An opportunity has arisen for a Waiter/ess to join the Private Dining team in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. The main duties and responsibilities of this role:

• To control usage of all food and beverage items and appropriate usage of equipment, tools and service equipment. 
• To communicate with Culinary Team to ensure an exceptional dining experience for all guests.  
• To ensure the food pick up and service is impeccable and completed in a timely manner .
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system.
• To understand all food and beverage items offered, including ingredients, methods of preparation and proper service. 
• Ensure great knowledge of health and safety, HACCP and hygiene regulations. 

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Strong customer service orientation 
• Adaptability and appreciation of cultural diversity 
• Fluency in English, with knowledge of an additional language.
