Description
As a Butler, you will be the personal ambassador for our most discerning guests—delivering bespoke, heartfelt service from arrival to departure. You will ensure every moment of their stay is personalized, seamless, and unforgettable.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for villa and suite guests, ensuring their experience is flawless from pre-arrival to post-departure.
- Welcome guests with a warm, professional, and refined presence in the lobby or designated resort areas.
- Share engaging stories about Sofitel and local culture, acting as a knowledgeable destination ambassador.
- Coordinate all aspects of the guest journey, including in-room dining, special occasions, and tailored itineraries.
- Liaise closely with Housekeeping and Engineering to ensure rooms are set up to guest preferences and in impeccable condition.
- Manage guest communications (via phone, in person, and digitally), promptly addressing all requests and feedback.
- Assist guests with personal services, such as unpacking/packing, shoe care, garment handling, and laundry collection/return.
- Deliver and present in-room food and beverage service with elegance and attention to detail.
- Maintain the butler pantry, ensuring it is stocked, clean, and operational at all times.
- Coordinate with other departments (Concierge, Housekeeping, Spa, F&B) to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
- Stay informed about resort promotions, local events, VIP guests, and loyalty benefits (ALL – Accor Live Limitless).
- Handle any guest concerns or special requests with discretion, empathy, and full ownership.
Qualifications & Skills
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A naturally warm, polished, and engaging demeanor with exceptional people skills.
- Fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- A deep understanding of luxury guest service standards and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with high-profile guests.
- Previous experience in luxury hospitality—preferably in Front Office, Butler Services, Housekeeping, or Food & Beverage.
- Professional appearance, personal integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
