Wine Trainer

Job Purpose:

As part of the MMI Wine Academy, the Wine Trainer will be responsible for delivering high-quality wine training to MMI employees, trade customers, and the wider community across Dubai and other markets where MMI operates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, deliver, and administer WSET courses (Levels 1–2, and Level 3 if applicable), as well as in-house wine courses.
• Deliver bespoke training sessions for key customers.
• Support the creation of engaging digital learning content.
• Handle administrative tasks and assist with marketing activities for courses.
• Upload and manage study materials to enhance the learning experience.
• Produce monthly reports covering training numbers and pass rates.
• Represent the Wine Academy at wine dinners, masterclasses, tastings, and events.
• Contribute to the Wine Academy’s communications, including social media and dedicated groups

Required Qualification and Experience:

Essential:

• Strong passion for wine and wine training.
• WSET Level 3 qualification (pass in all papers).
• At least 2 years’ experience as a sommelier in a recognized restaurant.

Desirable:

• Work experience in the UAE.
• Experience as Head Sommelier.
• Sommelier qualifications / WSET Diploma (pass in all papers).
• WSET Approved Tutor status
