Thermal Cracking Specialist

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide support in terms of feedstock evaluation (cracking yields, coking, contaminants)
2. Expert support for the utilization of cracking yields simulation tools (SPYRO or equivalent)
3. Provide Pyrolysis Specialist and Engineering support to site when troubleshooting our cracking heater operational issues, helping define root causal/contributing factors and paths.
4. Optimize site furnace operation phases: start-up, shutdown, decoking, normal operation, testing, and tune-up.
5. To define specific furnace operating windows
6. Identification of marginal improvements in terms of energy efficiency, throughput, feed flexibility, reduction of emissions such as NOx, increase of cycle length, coke mitigation and inhibition
