Description

Role Purpose

To act as a liaison between Head Office departments and assigned service stations, overseeing daily operations to ensure delivery of high-quality retail services. The role is focused on maximizing sales and profitability, ensuring efficient station performance, and maintaining exemplary customer service standards in line with EMARAT’s policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Supervise daily operations across assigned service stations to ensure consistent service delivery and operational compliance.
  • Analyze cash flow, cost controls, and station-level expenses to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce wastage and manage stock losses within industry-standard thresholds.
  • Review and respond to expenditure-related queries, ensuring prudent budget management.
  • Monitor and compare actual expenditures versus budgeted figures; provide justifications for variances.

Sales & Performance

  • Establish annual sales and budget targets in consultation with Line Manager.
  • Conduct competitor market surveys to benchmark performance and identify improvement areas.
  • Track and report on station profitability, sales metrics, and performance KPIs.

Staff Management

  • Oversee station staff activities and ensure alignment with EMARAT service standards.
  • Conduct regular briefings and on-the-job training to maintain brand standards and operational excellence.
  • Manage staff appearance and hygiene; coordinate replacement of uniforms and badges.
  • Work with HR to manage trade licenses, staff documentation, ID cards, and related compliance matters.

Customer Experience

  • Monitor and enhance customer service levels at all assigned stations.
  • Conduct on-site surveys to measure customer satisfaction and gather actionable feedback.
  • Address customer complaints and take prompt corrective actions when required.

Safety & Compliance

  • Investigate and report incidents or accidents at the stations; coordinate with police, insurance companies, and courts as necessary.
  • Perform annual asset verifications and stock checks; take corrective actions as required.

Leadership & People Development

  • Motivate and support direct reports by providing tools, guidance, and clear performance expectations.
  • Set team objectives, delegate tasks, and monitor workflow to achieve operational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and lead the performance review process in alignment with EMARAT's performance management framework.

Qualifications & Experience

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Retail Marketing.
  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas Distribution or FMCG industry is preferred.

Other Requirements:

  • Valid UAE Driving License and access to a personal vehicle.
