Microbiology Lab Assistant-QACC

About The Role: In this role you will be responsible for performing all preparatory works to assist in carrying out Micro sampling activity of Food, water, Ice and Equipment samples Key Accountabilities:

• To follow up the process of proper Lab analysis, and will be required to perform all preliminary tasks which will facilitate the Coordinator in his work, including:
  • Clean/prepare/ sterilize all equipment and prepare media equipment for lab analysis.
  • Effective and proper sterilization / sanitization of Glass ware and Equipment along with the Laminar air flow.
  • Sterilization and preparation of culture media.
  • Collect food samples for analysis
  • Weighing of sample and stomaching.
• At the end of Lab analysis process, will be responsible for:
  • Decontamination of Culture media and cleaning of major equipment
  • Following up with cleaning department for good housekeeping practice in lab.
• Maintains log book for:
  • Cleaning activity and schedule
  • Glass and Machine breakage log.

Qualifications About you: You should have at least a High School or Bachelors degree with Minimum 2 years of job related experience. Job Specific Skills:

• Should have good knowledge of handling lab equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Ability to understand and report to concerned authorities.
• Quick and sensible decision maker.
• Knowledge of HACCP & Flight Operations.
