HVAC Engineer – Projects & Execution

Job Overview DAAD Global is seeking an HVAC Engineer to support project execution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position covers technical review, documentation, site coordination, installation progress, testing, commissioning, and handover. It is suitable for a mechanical engineering professional with practical HVAC execution experience and the ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, procurement teams, and site personnel.Key Responsibilities • Review HVAC drawings, specifications, and technical documents before and during execution. • Prepare technical submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation. • Coordinate procurement requirements with site execution teams. • Support installation activities and monitor progress against project plans. • Supervise or coordinate testing, commissioning, and handover activities. • Track project costs, prepare progress reports, and communicate issues promptly. • Work with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to support timely delivery.Requirements and Qualifications A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and at least three years of HVAC execution experience are required. Candidates should have hands-on experience with VRF systems, chillers, packaged HVAC systems, and chilled-water systems. Knowledge of ASHRAE and SMACNA standards is expected, together with proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.Skills The role requires a sound understanding of HVAC installation and commissioning, technical drawing interpretation, documentation, project reporting, and site coordination.
