Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and provide attentive table service from seating through the end of the dining experience.
• Explain menu items, answer questions and communicate promotions or recommendations clearly and accurately.
• Coordinate orders with kitchen and bar colleagues and check that dishes and drinks meet presentation and quality standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate requests and escalate complaints or service issues promptly to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, service and cash-handling procedures while keeping assigned work areas ready for service.
• Work cooperatively with the team and support service recovery or changing priorities during busy periods.

Requirements and Qualifications

• At least two years of experience in a similar role, ideally in a fine-dining restaurant, is expected.
• A passion for hospitality, food and beverage service, and guest satisfaction is important.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and the ability to manage multiple tasks are required.
• Candidates should be confident serving guests from varied cultural backgrounds and explaining menu options.
