Senior Internal Auditor – Audit & Data Analytics

The Senior Internal Auditor will deliver risk-based assurance across business processes, using audit expertise and data analytics to identify control themes and practical improvements. The role works with stakeholders to test evidence, explain findings and support stronger governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and perform internal audits across operational, financial, technology and retail-related processes.
• Use data analytics to identify unusual activity, trends, control gaps and opportunities for more focused testing.
• Evaluate design and operating effectiveness of controls and document clear, evidence-based conclusions.
• Discuss findings with process owners, agree practical actions and monitor remediation through to completion.
• Prepare concise audit reports and support the wider audit plan, risk assessment and continuous improvement agenda.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Relevant internal audit, external audit, risk, controls or data analytics experience, ideally in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology, governance, analytical tools, report writing and stakeholder communication.

Employment Details
