The Senior Fragrance Consultant represents Maison Margiela's fragrance offering at the named mall location. The role focuses on guiding customers through scent discovery, explaining fragrance notes and product stories, and helping each customer select a fragrance that suits their taste or occasion. The consultant also supports sales, client relationships and premium counter standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and use questions about preferences, occasions and scent families to guide fragrance discovery.
• Explain fragrance notes, composition, concentration and wear in clear, engaging language.
• Create tailored recommendations and encourage repeat visits through thoughtful client follow-up.
• Work toward sales goals and support product launches, promotions and brand activations.
• Maintain tester availability, product presentation, stock accuracy and a neat selling area.

Requirements and Qualifications

• Experience in fragrance, beauty or premium retail is useful, with confidence advising customers about scents.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate product stories clearly.
• Interest in niche, designer or luxury fragrances and willingness to learn the brand's collection.
• Good organisation, grooming and customer-service standards.

Skills and Competencies

Listening, storytelling, product curiosity, sensory awareness and a consultative sales style are important. The consultant should be comfortable balancing individual service with busy store traffic and sales objectives.
