Job Overview
Khalifa University is recruiting a UAE National Projects Planning Supervisor to coordinate facility and infrastructure projects from early planning through design, construction, and operational handover. The role manages scope, budgets, schedules, standards, and contractor performance, while supporting campus master planning, renovation works, new facilities, and continuous improvement in building reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage planning and coordination for engineering design, installation, construction, maintenance, and related facilities projects.
- Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and deliverables, keeping design and construction teams aligned with approved objectives.
- Review drawings, specifications, calculations, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate design consultants, contractors, suppliers, and project teams for renovations and new facility construction.
- Confirm code compliance and engineering standards and carry out site inspections to identify defects or delivery issues.
- Recommend reliability improvements, standard operating procedures, and preventive-maintenance requirements for facilities systems.
- Monitor maintenance contracts against service-level agreements and key performance indicators and support team development.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- A minimum of four years of experience is required for UAE National candidates.
- Applicants must meet the UAE National eligibility requirement for this vacancy.
- Experience with project coordination, engineering design, construction documentation, contractors, or facilities management is relevant.
- Planning, problem-solving, reporting, communication, and team-mentoring skills are important.
