The position involves measuring quantities, reviewing payment documentation and keeping track of project costs as work progresses. The surveyor will support interim payment applications and certificates, monitor variations and assist with claims and final accounts. Experience in natural stone projects or other specialist works would be useful, while a sound grasp of quantity surveying and contract administration is central to the role.
This is a full-time opportunity for a professional with approximately two to five years of relevant quantity surveying or contract administration experience. The estimated salary is AED 8,000–12,000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare quantity take-offs and measurement records for project cost assessment.
- Review contracts, subcontractor quantities, invoices and billing documents for accuracy.
- Prepare and process Interim Payment Applications and Interim Payment Certificates.
- Track budgets, actual costs, variations and change orders during project delivery.
- Assist with claims, contract correspondence and preparation of final accounts.
- Maintain organised commercial records and supporting contract administration documents.
- Coordinate with project teams to verify quantities, valuations and payment details.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Two to five years of experience in quantity surveying and contract administration.
- Good understanding of measurement, billing, valuation and cost-control procedures.
- Experience in natural stone works or specialist project packages is an advantage.
- Knowledge of commercial documentation, variations, claims and payment processes.
- Strong numerical accuracy, organisation and document management skills.
Role Details
The successful applicant should be comfortable checking figures, resolving measurement differences and maintaining clear commercial records.
