Outpatient Coding Officer (Corniche Hospital)

Support accurate outpatient coding and clinical data quality by translating documented diagnoses and procedures into appropriate coding classifications. Key Responsibilities

• Review outpatient clinical records for completeness, consistency, and coding-relevant information.
• Assign appropriate diagnosis and procedure codes in line with applicable coding standards and organizational guidance.
• Clarify incomplete or conflicting documentation with authorized clinical or administrative teams.
• Support claim preparation, coding audits, error correction, and resolution of coding-related queries.
• Maintain confidentiality, meet accuracy and productivity expectations, and keep up to date with coding rules and updates.
