Manager – Assets Governance & Performance | UAE Nationals Only

Job Overview

Direct Authority-wide asset governance and performance, ensuring that assets are properly registered, valued, inspected and used throughout their lifecycle. The manager oversees inventory integrity and asset-related investment opportunities so the organization can improve utilization, protect value and make reliable decisions. The role combines policy ownership, operational oversight and coordination with internal departments and external entities.

The work requires coordination across departments, delivery partners and technical specialists. Strong governance, accurate records and timely escalation are important because decisions can affect public infrastructure, service reliability and long-term asset performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Set asset-inventory strategies and plans, with clear reporting cycles and senior-management review requirements.
• Monitor asset acquisitions, use, transfers and disposals across agencies and sectors.
• Oversee planned and unplanned inspections and review the technical and operational status of assets.
• Coordinate electronic auctions for asset or material sales and rental of investment assets with relevant departments.
• Ensure valuation information, registration records and inventory data remain accurate and current.
• Use performance reporting to identify underused assets, governance gaps and opportunities to improve returns.

Requirements
