Host/ess – Mercury Lounge

The Host/ess at Mercury Lounge is responsible for creating a polished first impression and coordinating the guest arrival experience. The role manages the host stand, reservation information, seating flow and dining-room readiness while maintaining strong knowledge of the outlet.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and coordinate their arrival and seating experience.
• Manage the host stand and review reservation information and table availability.
• Recommend table sections and coordinate seating with the service team.
• Check dining areas and tables before opening to ensure presentation standards are met.
• Maintain working knowledge of menus, ingredients and restaurant information.
• Use computer and food-and-beverage systems accurately and communicate guest needs to colleagues.

Requirements

• One to two years of Food & Beverage outlet experience is preferred.
• Luxury hotel experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and professional guest-facing manner.
• Ability to operate computer and F&B systems and manage busy service periods.
