Description
The Executive Director – Project Development oversees development planning and project delivery for a portfolio of hospitality assets, including hotels, resorts, residences and food-and-beverage facilities. The position aligns project scope, design, cost and programme with brand expectations and business objectives while coordinating with internal teams, consultants, operators and delivery partners.
Dubai Holding Hospitality Assets seeks a dependable professional who can work collaboratively, exercise good judgement and help improve results over time. Solutions should be useful, secure and measurable, with appropriate human oversight and a clear understanding of data limitations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project development from early feasibility and briefing through design, procurement, construction and handover.
- Coordinate with hotel operators, brand teams, designers, consultants and contractors to translate requirements into deliverable plans.
- Monitor capital budgets, programme, project risks, change requests and quality benchmarks.
- Review design and technical proposals, balancing guest experience, operational requirements, asset lifecycle and commercial returns.
- Maintain reporting, governance and executive decisions across multiple workstreams.
- Plan handover and operational readiness so hospitality assets can open with the required systems, documentation and standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Substantial senior experience in hospitality development, real estate project delivery or construction management.
- Understanding of hotel or resort development, design coordination, project controls and commercial decision-making.
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex consultant and contractor relationships.
- Strong financial, contractual, reporting and stakeholder-management capabilities.
- Experience across multiple hospitality markets or asset types is advantageous.
