The Demi Chef de Partie joins the new French Concept team at Jumeirah Al Qasr and supports daily kitchen production and service. The role is designed for a culinary professional who can follow recipes accurately, maintain high food-quality standards and work effectively within a structured luxury-kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned ingredients and dishes according to recipes and Chef de Partie instructions
- complete mise en place accurately
- support service during busy periods
- maintain food quality, presentation and portion control
- monitor storage and ingredient handling
- follow HACCP and food-safety procedures
- maintain clean and organized workstations
- minimize waste
- communicate shortages or production issues promptly
- and contribute positively to teamwork and kitchen discipline.
Requirements
- Candidates should have relevant culinary training and practical kitchen experience. Familiarity with French cuisine or high-end restaurant operations is useful. Attention to detail, reliability, willingness to learn, good hygiene practices and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
