Academic Counsellor

Job Overview

Time Training Center is seeking a motivated Academic Counsellor to support prospective learners and help them select suitable training programmes in Abu Dhabi. This full-time position is well suited to a professional with experience in education sales, student admissions, or counselling who can communicate course information clearly and manage enquiries through to enrolment. The role combines student guidance, lead follow-up, record keeping, and achievement of admission targets. Candidates currently based in the UAE and available to join immediately are preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to prospective students’ enquiries and explain available courses, programme details, admission procedures, and next steps.
• Understand each learner’s interests and goals and provide relevant information to help them make informed course choices.
• Follow up with new and existing leads through telephone calls, email, and other approved communication channels.
• Use CRM tools to record enquiries, update student information, track follow-ups, and maintain an accurate admissions pipeline.
• Work toward assigned admission, conversion, and enrolment targets while maintaining professional service standards.
• Coordinate with internal academic and administrative teams to support a smooth registration and admission process.
• Keep accurate records of counselling interactions, student requirements, and enrolment status.
• Provide timely updates on lead progress and contribute to improving enquiry handling and student engagement.

Requirements

• Two to four years of experience in education sales, student admissions, or a related counselling role.
• A bachelor’s degree is listed as the expected qualification.
• Strong verbal communication, telesales, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience using CRM platforms or lead-management systems.
• Ability to organize follow-ups, manage multiple enquiries, and work toward measurable targets.
• Current UAE residence and immediate availability are preferred.
