Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse

Job Overview Novomed is seeking an experienced Operating Theatre (OT) Nurse in Dubai. The role supports surgical teams and helps maintain safe, organized operating theatre workflows before, during, and after procedures. Applicants should have hands-on operating theatre nursing experience in Dubai and a valid DHA licence. Experience in plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and general surgery is encouraged.Key Responsibilities • Assist surgeons and the wider surgical team before, during, and after procedures. • Prepare operating theatres, surgical instruments, and equipment for scheduled operations. • Maintain sterile techniques and follow infection-control and patient-safety protocols. • Monitor patients during procedures and support efficient theatre operations. • Ensure instruments and equipment are prepared and handled according to clinical protocols. • Communicate with the surgical team to support coordinated patient care. • Maintain an organized work area and follow established procedures for safe clinical practice.Requirements and Qualifications Previous OT nursing experience in Dubai is mandatory. Candidates must hold a valid DHA licence. Knowledge of plastic surgery, orthopaedic surgery, and general surgery is required, together with an understanding of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, infection prevention, and patient-safety procedures.Skills Strong teamwork, communication, organization, and attention to detail are essential. Applicants should be able to work calmly in a surgical environment, follow instructions accurately, and coordinate effectively with surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare colleagues.
